The Right Way to Roll!

Sushi Rock & Scott Fujita Come Together to support The Littlest Heroes

Cleveland, OH – A local sports celebrity & a local restaurant come together to support a local cause.  Sushi Rock and Scott Fujita, Cleveland Browns linebacker, are launching a season long campaign to promote awareness of The Littlest Heroes, a nonprofit organization serving NE Ohio children, teens and young adults with cancer.  The kick-off event will take place on Tuesday September 21st at Sushi Rock in Beachwood, beginning promptly at 2pm.  Scott Fujita recruited many of his teammates for this event, including Tony Pashos, Kenyon Coleman, Bubba Ventrone, Sheldon Brown, Ben Watson and Chris Gocong. The players will participate in a contest with children from The Littlest Heroes organization. The Browns Players will go up against The Littlest Heroes in a Sushi Rolling contest.  Each team will be provided the ingredients to roll sushi and the team that rolls the most in the 5 minute contest will win a party at Sushi Rock and serious bragging rights!

Peyton Hillis and Alex Mack will also be on-site filming a series of segments that will be released in October and throughout the season.  The segments will be modeled after “Who Dat Fish”, a local New Orleans promotional campaign Scott participated in, but formatted for Cleveland fans.  It promises to entertain all!  More details on those segments will be available on September 27, 2010.

The Campaign features a custom sushi roll named after each participating Browns player.  These rolls will be featured on Sushi Rock’s menu at both the downtown and Beachwood locations with a portion of the proceeds from each player’s roll being donated to the Littlest Heroes.

Virginia Marti College of Art & Design is a supporting sponsor of this entire campaign.  There is currently a contest underway with the graphic design students to present logo ideas to the campaign committee this Friday September 17, 2010.  The designs will be used on t-shirts promoting the campaign and the proceeds will also be donated to The Littlest Heroes.  Additionally, the Virginia Marti Production Department is also working on the project in conjunction with Flique Creative, to provide the videography for the upcoming segments.

Sushi Rock Beachwood is located at 2101 Richmond Road in Beachwood.  The event is closed to the public.  All Media personnel are invited and must call in advance to be on the guest list for the event. The Littlest heroes is a local organization helping children with cancer in Northeast Ohio and their families.  The Littlest Heroes is located at 3200 Aurora Rd., Solon Ohio.  Please contact Michelle Lefkowitz if you wish to attend the event at 440-479-3829.
